If you don’t live under a rock then you’ll know that the world is going through a major pandemic that has seemed to stop the world completely. The coronavirus is a very serious virus that is making its way around the world. Because of this virus we were all told to stay where we are and keep our distance. So, that means no going out to eat, no sports, no face-to-face classes, and the worse one staying away from friends and family. But there are still things you can do to make the day go a little faster...... So, Without further ado this is what my family is up to while in quarantine.
Here you can see that I am going out and walking my family dog Rocky Road. I will go take him out for a walk everyday so, we both can get out and stretch our legs. Sometimes my mom Brenda Gander will join in on the fun. We usually go for almost a mile but he’s 8 years ago and scared of other dogs so he always will turn around before a mile. So, being an college track athlete it’s nice that I can get outside and do something active even if it’s not a crazy workout.
Since classes for online have started I tend to start pretty early for homework because my internet is really awful from living in the middle of nowhere so, it will usually take me a whole day to even complete one assignment. It is not fun and really stressful at times but i usually end up doing my homework on my phone awhile using data.
This is my step dad Tom Gander and in this picture we are coming back from buying pies, cookie, and bread from an Amish lady. Tom is a hard working farmer that owns his own farm. He wakes up very early every morning and gets rights to work. There are a lot of place closing but The farm never closes. It real honest work!
If I ever have good internet and I have no homework I tend to get online and play video games. Sometimes I’ll play with friends but most of the time that will make me lag so I tend to play by myself. I like to play games like Overwatch, Fallout, Dragon Age, Skyrim, Sims, Minecraft, and the list goes on and on. Usually when my internet is bad I don’t play the Xbox and I move onto m Nintendo products and play Animal Crossing.
Having bad internet doesn't just effect me believe it or not. My mom, Brenda Gander is a teacher aid out of George Jr. so, she is having to be on the computer a lot with figuring out what she can do to help out the teacher she is working with or to figure out how she can help the students of George Jr. Brenda will have meetings everyday at 11 a.m. and that is perfect timing because I don’t usually wake up until 12 so, I am not taking any internet away from her.
Here I am playing with the family cat Sienna. She is around 2 years ago so, she is a very playful kitten. I usually play with Sienna when I’m waiting for things to load on my computer or when she starts carrying around the toy she wants to play with. Sienna is always in my room so, she get messed with a lot, bit she also get a overload of love and affection.
In my spare time I like to draw or paint and since every second is spare time I have been doing a lot of it. In this picture I am doing a design for a pair of Nike Air Force Ones. The design is the Simpsons just simply because it’s my favorite show. I also started to draw random things in my room like for example a outlet cover, I painted it a Adventure Time theme.
